Entrepreneurship is not for everyone. It takes self-confidence and risk. It can be lonely but in the long run it is worth it. I believe if you do not believe in yourself you are not cut out for this lifestyle. It takes a lot to withstand the challenges of being an entrepreneur. Once you have decided to create your own path and start your own enterprise remember to believe in your dream and execute the plan and strategy you have set for yourself. If you need help do not be afraid to ask for help. Work hard and grind. Success is a journey not a destination. Always strive to be the best. What is holding you back to being a great entrepreneur? Do you believe in your vision?

I have heard the term “starving artist” a time or two. I wonder why creative people are equated with financial struggle. To be honest most artists just care about their art and express themselves however we can neglect the element of money in the mix. I have met creators who at times have to decide to price and value their artistic worth. For example a clothing designer has to give a price to their collection based on the hard work they have put out. At times some people complain about the price but how are these designers and other creative survive. Everyone has bills to pay. . This is a situation all creatives have to deal with it. Artists can be exploited for their blood, sweat, and tears. So next time an upcoming designer has a great piece that they have created or musician sells their music please consider supporting them if you like what you see or hear. Here is something to consider how many creatives you know? And do you support them financially?

Expression. This words means many things to a creative. From writers, recording artists, and visual artists this is the word that binds creativity. However I wonder sometimes if some artists go to far. Case in point: Trey Songz new music video “Animal”. Was Trigga pushing the envelope too far? Here’s the link to the video:Animal so you can see for yourself. Ok you saw it, what do you think? Do recording artists go to far with expressing themselves or just some people are too conservative or maybe a prude? Trey Songz is not the first singer to do this and will not be the last. My question for you is that can you go to far in expressing yourself with your art. Comment below. Let’s make this an awesome discussion.

Honestly I can’t stand swiping right or left on my iPhone to grab someone’s attention. My friend told me she found love on Tinder but I still can’t grasp that. I joined Soul Swipe and saw people I knew and was scared they were going to see my profile. In two weeks time I deleted that app. Call me old fashioned but I just can’t grasp online relationships. I am still stuck on the notion that I will meet someone in a conventional way. One good friend told me I need to let go of my old way of dating and try plenty of fish and ok cupid. I don’t know. LOL. Does online dating work? In my opinion I don’t like it. To my readers what are you thoughts on dating sites/apps such as plenty of fish and soul swipe? If you have found success using these tools let me know because I am still paranoid about it.

I believe I spoke about this already but repetition reinforces learning and understanding. Society’s obsession with the entertainment industry is very alarming. To be honest I am guilty of going to Baller Alert’s Instagram account several times but am that the only thing I do on social media? Of course not. I think society places a priority on celebrity news and gossip over more pressing issues. I understand it to be a distraction to the real problems in society. It is not healthy for your mind and spirit to consume the media’s garbage. Consuming entertainment news only makes you very one-dimensional and can make seem ignorant to what is going on in the world today. We need to feed our minds with substance so we can grow, learn, and evolve. Take the time out to read a book or watch a documentary. We need to delve into reality since entertainment is just fantasy.
